Who Here Got Approved By Medicare??!! Anyone?

Just wondered if everybody who has dealt with Medicare regarding their surgery could possibly post some info for me on here? What type of surgery did you have? How long till approval? Any hoops to through? Thanks, Kelly

I am going through medicare. They do not approve until after surgery. And you have to have medical neccessity. Many Surgeons will not take medicare, or can only do a certain amount of them in a time period. The local Surgeon here in my town does not except it. Good luck to you Kelly.

Hi Kelly I have medicare and medicade my dr. dr. Cox takes medicare he is in fort Lauderdale a very good doctor he is more corcerned about his patiencts then money. his office handled every thing for me and I got my wls 3 weeks after all the required test. if you want his number I'll give it to you just email me. medicare dosn't approve it untill after it's done. they will pay the hospital bill and dr. visits the sugery I'm not for sure medicade paid 800.00 and medicare paid everything else. good luck Shirley

i had my surgery done in clearwater. Dr haiken. They take medicaid. and so far I have paid for nothing!
