Missed Bypass Buddies Meeting

I went to Clearwater yesterday to see my nutrionist and she told me that bypass buddies was meeting there last night. So, me and friend stayed until 6:30 PM and no one showed. We checked at the front desk and found out that they wasn't even scheduled last night! I guess I should've checked my paperwork more closely and I would've seen that they wasn't meeting last night after all. ~Roiann

Want to know HOW MANY WLS meetings there are in Ocala????? Well, Dr. Overcash has one at ORMC and Dr. Jawad has one out at West Marion and there's yet another one at the health department!! So that's THREE opportunities for you! I believe that Dr. O. allows any patient to attend and I'm positive that Dr. J. encourages anyone to come. Dr. Jawad's meeting at West Marion is the last Thursday of the month in the medical building at 6:30 p.m. Dr. O.'s office can tell you when their's is held and the one at the health department is the second Tuesday at 6:00 or 6:30 I think, but I would definitely suggest you call first.
