Well, I'm FINALLY back in Florida...

It was good to go home, to bad it was cause my dad's surgery, but everything went GREAT with him and he's resting at home now!!! I'm so amazed at that man's strength and courage. He's always been my hero, but now he's just proved what I've always thought.. Well, I weighed myself yesterday and it seems I'm down almost 25 lbs...WOW I couldn't believe it!! I've been surprised at how I can eat just about anything.. I haven't tried anything spicy, I LOVE SPICY, but I don't think I"m ready yet!! I've been LOVING FISH!!! Which is very different, I used to hate fish!!! Anyway its good to be home!!! Thanks Again for all the PRAYERS!! We have a AWESOME GOD!!!!!! Lori

HEY Lori!!!! Welcome home! I'm so glad your dad is doing awesome. I'm sure you and Jerry are ready to get back to a NORMAL life...hopefully you're taking it easy on the poor guy! LOL...or at least he's adjusting better now. Congrads on the weight loss. I am feeling great now. I am eating pretty much anything I want now and it's going well. One day I was shocked to realize that I had eaten about half of a Churches Chicken potatoes. I realized the container is 6 ounces. That was an eye opener! But have been doing great before and after. I am at about -22 pounds. I'm frustrated as my weight loss seemed to slow once I started to eat not just drink fluids. I'm afraid that the 22 pounds is going to be it...YIKES!!! But then I go to sleep, weigh in and YEAY, a couple more pounds gone. I have been trying to work up my types of food that I can eat. I eat cheese EVERY morning...and some high protein usually for the other two meals. The other day, I got the munchies and actually tried 3 cheese crackers with a tiny bit of dip. I actually was able to eat it (just made sure the cracker was chewed incredibly.) Today I tried to get a "meat" in me...tried 2 vienna sausages...and it went great (don't really care for the taste of them anymore.) I can't wait to eat a taco!!!!! I want a taco soooooooooo badly! It's great to have you home...I've missed conversing with you. Laurie

yeah I know I'm Missing EVERYONE!!!! Jerry is doing better and we are slowly getting back to normal. I'm moving around like normal now so thats good. Its so weird how everyone is so different.. I can eat ANYTHING but cheese. I don't know what it does to me but OMG does it hurt when I eat it. I also wanted to let you know I'm doing the same thing with water... actually its anything cold. It almost feels like It gets stuck, its really weird.. If I wait until its room temp then it seems to go down better. tastes NASTY, but it feels better... Well, gonna run for now Have A GREAT 4th of July Lori
