Fall Get Together-Change in Date

Looks like I picked a bad weekend for everyone. Perhaps you all can give me an idea about what weekend is good for you and then I can figure something out. About the room cost. I can try and get a cheaper rate if you all want the Hard Rock. If not I will get together a list of hotels and room rates and then we can vote. I thought Tampa would be good since we already spent a weekend on the East coast. *-l Give me some ideas okay.

Phyliss, There will never be a perfect date that works for EVERYone, plus people's plans change closer to the actual date. I think you are doing a wonderful thing being the "party planner" so I suggest you just pick a date, coordinate the hotel and those who can swing it, will be there. I will see what my schedule is like closer to the event, but please dont try to accommodate everyone, it will never happen . Can you tell I've planned things like this before? It can stress you out, dont let it ! Hardrock in Tampa in October sounds perfect to me Amy -180lb.

I am not sure what you are talking about but if it is tampa - that is alot closer to me then all the other get togethers -- I am hoping to have surgery no later then august

I agree with Amy...and I for one will be someone with a hard to plan around schedule. So go ahead and plan and have a good time with who ever can make it.

Phyliss...the date is fine...and they are right you can't accomodate everyone. But keep in mind $165 a night is very high....and there will be those who won't be able to get 4 to a room....and that makes it very expensive for a weekend. Just my thoughts.....but just do it. Make the decisions....and everyone can either do it or not..... Thanks for planning... Hugs Charlie

Thanks Lynda I hope we can meet up again sometime in the future. I think this fall I am going to need a vacation...they finally decided to tear down part of our sinkhole house. OOOH I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Tracey
