Hairless!

I'm 5 months out and my hair has drastically thinned out. I hear that it stops after 6 months but I don't know if I have enough hair to get me through. I've eaten all my protein, taken my vitamins, exercise 5X a week, drink lots of water and still I've experienced hair lose. Can you share your hair lose experiences with me. Does it grow back? Has anyone had the experience where it didn't grow back? Also the texture of my hair has changed. Is this common? I'm so self conscious about it. Thanks for your information, Rhonda

Rhonda, I am one year out this month and started noticing my hair growth again recently. I had thin hair to begin with so it was very frustrating to see my scalp near my bangs. But it will grow back, possibly your stylist can do something to camoflague it more, mine made my bangs thicker for me. Hang in there! Amy

Thanks Amy. Your new picture is great. You look fabulous! I'm so inspired by you. I hope I get to meet you someday. I've been on a new supplement that seems to have slowed down my hair lose...thank goodness. I see my hair stylist on 7/9, I'll ask her about beefing up my bangs. Thanks again, Rhonda

Rhonda, I feel your pain!! My surgeon said no matter how much protein we eat, we will lose some hair. But my nutritionist told me to add Zinc & Biotin to my multi-vitamins & calcium and the hair loss seems to have slowed down a bit since I did. Everyone says it will eventually grow back. I hope so!
