where's all the south florida people?

any gatherings or support groups in south florida for OH people?

Hey Jay, I think Cleveland Clinic has a support group. I think alot of people on this board had Dr. Rosenthal. I had Dr. English in Fort Lauderdale. Let me know if yours does not and I can refer you to one but it is in Davie which is far from where you live. Let me know, Christine

I'm using Dr. Rosenthal. There's also surgery support groups closer to me through JFK, Bethesda, Delray Medical Center etc. but that's not really what i meant. I meant for the people from this site. I keep hearing about gatherings in Orlando and Chicago and local groups getting together. What about South Florida? Is there anything going on down here?

i had rosenthal as well and i go to his groups( 4th monday of every month at 5.. theres one on nobhill and 84 ( third monday at 7 theres one july 18th.. the police station )

Maybe i'll see you at a meeting. i'm really impressed with Dr. Rosenthal and the Cleveland Clinic. I had an "attempted" surgery at Bethesda in April but somehow they missed my ultrasound and were shocked to find my gallbladder in the wrong place when they went in and they just closed me up and shipped me out. Dr. Rosenthal seems very confident that he can do my surgery though and his qualifications seem to back that up. And he's been so great in helping me getting the surgery set up. i can't remember ever being as impressed by a doctor or medical facility as i am with the entire Cleveland Clinic in general. I can't believe they take my insurance and i didn't go there first. It's a 45 minutes to an hour from where i live (boynton beach) but it's definitely worth the extra driving.

There was a conference this past weekend. Is that what you are asking about?
