Funny Birthday story!

Sunday night the kids suprised me with a party and a spa day for my 44th Birthday.. I also got a beautiful necklace and cd. The funny thing was they had a special menu for my diet. (They still thought I was on puree foods) so they gave me a specially printed menu: Main entree: turkey and rice, pinaple glazed ham, Side dishes:squash, sweet potatoes, ro apples, mangos and Kiwi, AFter the meal: vanilla custard, peach cobbler, and different fruit juices. At the bottom of the menu it said "We use all natural ingredients in our tasty selections. A variety of vitamins and minerals are included in all mene items".They wanted me to know that everything on the menu was sugar free so I could eat it! You could order as much off the menu as you wanted. My husband ordered everything! When we got to the kitchen and saw our plates it was all baby food! ROTFL It was so funny! And, everyone had to eat with a baby spoon!

I did not mind eating the mild puree stuff ( I eat regular stuff now), bu****ching them was halarious (sp?)! Especially dh who ordered the most! After eating we ordered pizza! I ate the cheese off mine! It was so thoughtful of them to try to go through what I had to go through the first few weeks after my surgery! :D I am indeed blessed! Blessings, Tami
