I'm back and 14 days post op...
Hey everyone,
I've been off line for 10 days, finally my internet server is back up and running in my neighborhood, hopfully they have finished with the line replacements. ****il the next hurricane) But I have missed this board so bad, I was almost to the point of switching to dial up just to be able to communicate with everyone. I'm 14 days out and feel great, but I have had alot of questions. Just wanted to let everyone know that I've been thinking of them and look forward to catching up with everyone.

Melissa,
Welcome to the board, this is a great place to research and to meet new people. I've had the pleasure of chatting with many and the pleasure of gaining to new friends that I've met in person. They both came to visit me in the hospital just hours after surgery, they are my partners on this roller coaster ride.

Hi Jerrie,
WELCOME back...I've missed chatting with you. I went to my 1 week yesterday and FINALLY got 2 of the tubes removed...but had to keep the JP in...it will be nice to have that out as it is sitting on a nerve. I was very excited as my scale isn't digital...my weigh in showed a 17 pound loss for week one. I am feel sooooo much better and energized and I see a difference in my face and neck (that sounds funny, huh?)
Well, glad you are doing well too...I'm having major guilt feelings when I decided to "eat", like I'm going to just gain the 17 pounds back! That might take a bit of time to get over. Talk with you soon! Laurie P
