WOW!! Orlando!!!

Just got home from a very full and very FUN trip to the Orlando OH Conference. All I can say is if you ~ever~ have a chance to attend one of these, PLEASE, PLEASE do what you can to get there plane, train, automobile, motorcycle??? I wish I had the time to have stayed the entire weekend...I just KNOW I'm missing out on some good times It was really cool meeting everyone from the boards and spending time together. Salsa? Hip Hop anyone??????Hey, what happens in Orlando, stays in Orlando I think some 'action shots' might just surface in the next few days from our little outing to CitiWalk last night. Hat's off to JC, Monica and a great group of OH staff and local volunteers, who did a wonderful job welcoming us and offering ideas and inspiration Barbara Thompson was a teriffic speaker and we learned alot from all of the other presenters as well. I can only imagine what the 3-day event will be like this December. It was really great meeting everyone. I had a great time and learned alot from all of you.

I enjoyed the event but I wish there was more time to socialize, meet and greet. My favorite speaker was Monica Ganz. The surgery "fixed" my stomach but it didn't fix my mind. I wish there were speakers discussing the emotional and psychological effects of the surgery and one or two less plastic surgeons! I also wish there had been time to talk about exercise and the importance of keeping your body moving. All in all I just love being around people who understand my journey and for that I am grateful to all in attendance. I wish I could have met more of you! Rhonda

Hi Rhonda, Yes, it was really fun and Monica is very inspirational and a wonderful example for us all. Maybe next time we'll have the time for more actual demonstration time for people at every fitness level. There's so much people can do, from bands, cords, balls, weights, walking, swimming, and good old fashioned floor exercises. All the best, Diane

Hey.....I'm wearing them around the house. I look funny...but thats nothing new.....if I did leg lifts till the rain stops....I wouldn't get ANYTHING done but leg lifts. Its raining now....... Anyway...Lynda mentioned CA...but its just too far for me. I'm sticking to the east coast.....and maybe the FL get togethers. Hugs from the beach Charlie
