I get these terrible side aches about once a week on the right side. They last about 30 minutes to an hour. I did go through kidney stones in April and May, but never had side aches like this before. Has anyone experienced these? I'm wondering if it could be my appendix? I'm 9 months out from surgery. Weight loss 135 lbs.

Does the pain go through to your back? Do you notice the pain after eating? Your gallbladder is in your right upper quadrant. I am 7 months out and have lost 97 pounds. I had a perfect gallbladder ultrasound pre-op, now I am riddled with gallstones. My gallbladder is being removed June 30. Your appendix is in the right lower quadrant. I would call my doc. Kristen
