We're halfway there folks! Happy Wednesday.... Share with us the most significant thing you hope to accomplish through weight loss....besides health because I know we all want to be healthier. I know there are several things we can list. I think I have a list as long as my waist is around!! BUT... name the most significant one and why. For me it is mobility. I have become SOOOO sedentary due to my weight. My back is so sore all the time and my legs are too but just recently I am noticing my knees are starting to hurt all the time. I cannot even come close to running and I have a hard time even walking now. I WANT MOBILITY! I have a goal to lose enough weight so that I can jog. *sigh* I can't wait... Sallykate

Hey Sallykate, For me the most significant thing is hygeine. I hate taking showers and trying to get every part of me clean. My feet suffer the most as it is hard to bend to get in between toes and oh I hate feeling dirty. Life as a obese person is so hard sometimes. Also, like you said, I want to be able to move and not hurt and get out of breath. Just 6 more weeks to the losing side and feeling more healthy. I can't wait to feel good and be able to get off of my medicines that I take for diabetes, high blood pressure, high chlesterol. I'll trade vitamins supplements for the high cost of these meds any day! Thanks for the QOD...it was a good one and got me thinking. Lori

I am with you on the mobility but also I want to participate. I mean, I have spent years sitting on the sidelines watching others have the fun and pretending I just didn't want to ...ride the amusement rides, go to the movies, buy new clothes, crawl on the floor with my grandkids, play tennis............must I go on Yes, I want to participate instead of spectate.
