ONEderland!!
I weighed at the nutritionist's office yesterday and I'm offically in ONEderland at 199.5 lbs (down 77.5 lbs)
AND I've joined a gym. I'm going to water aerobics 3 days a week and yoga 2 days a week. Who knew in January when I could barely walk that I'd be able to do all these things in less than 5 months!!! Life as a wls "postie" is GREAT!!!

Hi Vickie,
I am down 46 lbs which brings me to 167. I am still vomiting whenever I try something other than mush or liquids which is just about every other day. Tried two bites of salad with baked salmon for lunch and that came up so I had a Guilt Free fudgesicle (no sugar). I have been depending on Atkins drinks, Slimfast Lo Carb drinks, soup, popsicle and fudgesicles, cottage cheese with berries, crackers but that seems to be it of what I can tolerate. Not a big deal for me I never was a big eater, kind makes you wonder how I ever gained those 80 lbs but they are going now so I am very happy. I am going to see my surgeon on Monday and I hope he is happy with my results. Already got my blood results and B12, protein, ferritin etc all where good. Never had high cholesterol but my b/p was high for 3 years, am off all meds other than for nausea as needed, allergy and sleep. I feel much healthier using my pilates preformer every day and every other day I get on the gazelle for as long as I can stand it. I would not say I am going crazy with exercise and walking like I have most of my life but this seems to be working for me.
Do you think me bring less weight to start with is the reason I'm not loosing as fast as you & everyone else?
Ginny,
So sorry to hear you're still having the nausea! I've been lucky and can eat just about anything but I have found that even a 2 or 3 bites of some fried foods don't sit well (hashbrowns) but others don't bother me at all - go figure!
You're probably right about the fact that you started as a "lightweight" being why you're not losing as fast as some others. Those of us who started out with less to lose do seem to lose it a bit slower but that's OK, too. Stick with the program and I'm sure you'll get to where you want to be eventually.

Joseph,
It is called a "Flex" class but it is a basic yoga stretching class. I love it! I was afraid with my bad back that I wouldn't be able to do it, but since you're laying on the floor for most of it I've had no problems. Well.... no problems if you don't count being a little sore the next day. Some of those muscles haven't been stretched like that in many, many years!! But what was truly amazing is that except for one 20-something, I was the youngest in the class and I'm 50!! Most of those older folks were much more limber than me, but I'm getting there!!
