HI I HAD RNY 3 YRS AGO DIDNT LOOSE WHAT I WANTED I WAS WONDERING IFI COULD HAVE LAPBAND DONE NOW..THANX FOR THE INFO AND WHAT DOCTORS DO IT IN SOUTH FLA BESIDES DR MAREMA..NOTHING AGAINST HIM BUT I REFUSE TO PAY HIM 300.00 JUST TO TALK AND I HAVE INSURANCE..HUGGY

honestly i dont believe you can have lapband done now, unless you are able to undo the whole RNY. What i would suggest is to find a better doctor than the one who did your first surgery and get your pouch redone if possible. Its possible to go from lap to RNY but Imho not vice versa. good luck in your quest and choice.

Mary, The rny and more effective than the lapband from all research I've read. Is there evidence that you can be more successful with the lapband? Rhonda
