MOVING BACK TO FLORIDA !!!

My name is kyndra I am from venice fl I currently live in tx but am moving back to venice soon and I had RNY on 6/7/2005 and when I move back to venice I would like to know of some support groups in the area, maybe northport or even sarasota area any info would help me thank you

Hi,Kyndra! I hail from Port Charlotte. I am pre-op but I'll be listening for a support group for both of us. I know that last year there was one meeting at "Lexington Manor" on Veterans Blvd in PC. The Charlotte Sun usually lists them in the Sunday paper. I'll take a look tomorrow and ask a few folks too. Welcome Home Laurie I

Goodmorning, Sunday paper is here. the Group at Lexington Manor (second floor) meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm 20480 Veterans Blvd phone 941-766-7991. There is another group "Bypass and Bandster Buddies" of Char-Lee-Sarasota they meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at the Womens Connection Resource Center 21297 Olean Blvd Port Charlotte phone 941 204 3044. Port Charlotte has really changed thanks to Hurricane Charley. We are rebuilding as fast as we can. Come on down!
