I am finally overweight
Hi, I am just over a year post-op and I am happy to say that I am considered overweight with a BMI of 28. I have never been so happy. People keep telling me that I do not need to loose anymore weight. I have 20 more pounds to lose for goal. I feel happy, healthy and still motivated. I workout still with my trainer. I started with him about 5 weeks after my surgery. I think the exercise was the key to my success. I felt that was missing in my life when I was morbidly obese. So in order not to repeat history, I am keeping the exercise forever.........lol. Good luck to all my Florida pals! Just wanted to share my excitement.
Hugs,

Congratulations! It's an awesome feeling! I had my surgery in CT 1 1/2 yrs. ago and just recently moved to FL (where nobody knows I'm secretly a fat person!). I've lost 110 lbs. and am now 119 lbs. and a size 6. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe I could get there. I always said I'd be extremely happy with a size 10/12. I was eating tuna on crackers the other day at work and someone walked by and said "that's all you're eating, that's why you're so skinny" ... yea ... THAT's why I'm skinny!!! It's kind of fun having the secret! Keep motivated and good exercising!
