Hi everyone...I want to wish everyone that has their surgery coming up in June the best of luck and prayers are with you all...now I went to my initial appt at Dr. Haicken's on May 12th. Christine told me it would take me a few months to complete the tests and such... is all I was thinking....I don't have a few months I want this surgery yesterday like we all do...lol well anyhow here is my list of what I had to do and what I have done and yet to do and the time line: Chest X-rayies..............done..............May 25th Blood Work...................done..............May 25th EKG............................done...............Jan 4th Consult with Pulmonologist....done.........May 24th Breathing Test.............done................May 26th Sleep Study................scheduled..........June 9th Follow up with Pulm. ....scheduled..........June 22nd Consult with Gastroenterologist...done.....May 31st Upper GI and Endoscopy...scheduled.......June 14th Follow up with Gast. .......scheduled........June 28th Pysch evaluation............done...............june, 2004 Nutritional consult..........done...............june, 2004 so here is a clap for myself as you see starting May 12th and all testing and follow ups will be done by June 28th...the pysch and nutritionist I had done last year when I was going to a different surgeon.... whew....I can see the surgery is within my reach now...I am hoping for July...that might really be pushing it but would like to heal before the kids go back to school as they are car riders and no bus available to them this coming year...but if it is in God's will it will be done when the time is right....thanks all for the support and prayers while I go through all this....you are all special angels on this site.... Love ya's April

HI April Just take a DEEP BREATHE!! you will be ok. July will be here before you know it and you will wonder where the time has gone. Just do as you are suppose too and keep in touch with the man upstairs and remind him that if it is for you to have this surgery then to help you get through it as best as you can. Becky
