Pensacola angel needed!!!!

Hi everyone, As you saw, I now have a date!!!! YEAY!!! Being new to the area, I have no family here and my social circle is very new. My DH is taking time off to fly down and help for the first 10 days (unless some complications arise...then he will remain here longer as needed.) I would love to have an angel that would be willing to stop in the hospital, say hi (make me feel as though someone cares), as my husband will be in and out between the hospital and taking care of the boys at home. I'm not asking for a personal caretaker, just someone to stop in the hospital, say hi (let me cry or vent if I need to) and let the Florida board family know my progress. Thanks everyone, Laurie

Hi Laurie I'm Lori..lol I"m in Pensacola. My husband is in the Navy and we have been here about 3 years. My surgery is scheduled for the 14th so I don't know if I'd feel up to visiting but I'd be glad to give you a call and check on you. I'm having my surgery at West Florida. Are you going to Baptist? Laurie, Glad to hear that your mom is on the better side, and I would have loved to have been your angel, but good news MY SURGERY DATE: June 13th and I really don't think that I would make a very good angel. When you posted you were here in P'cola, and Dr.Nye's patient I was excited, I though finally I could have a buddy to walk through this journey with, but my surgery date is just down the road, but I would really like to keep in touch.
