WAHOOO...I got a date!!!

OMG, I am sooooooooo excited. I called the doctor today and have my surgery set for June 20th. They actually had an opening for June 15th, but DH needs a bit more time to get everything set regarding time off from work. I thought I was going to be more scared...but I am just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy right now and think I have truly accepted the risks. I told my teenage son, DH and mother that I am really ready to take the risk of "dying trying to live, then live trying to die." Oh, I feel so blessed to have this opportunity....YEAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rejoice with you Laurie! I just had mine done on the 25th and dont regret it one bit. Learn all you can, do your pre-=op diet, start exercising, take control.
