very upset...

I posted this on the main messege board on acciddent..sorry..anyways... On sunday I went to the beach with my family...my aunt, mom dad and lil brother and sister. My mom and I rode own bikes because we only live about 1/2 a mile from the beach. Well When we were leaving....my mom left about 5 min before I did and so i was by myself ridingmy bike which is something i love to do. Well as i was coming off the beach ramp(which is where the cars enter and exit the beach at).. a truck of guys pulled up beside me and yelled FAT A** and zoomed off laughing... I was extremely upset. This has just made my determination to have my surgery and suceed even stronger. I may be fat now ..but soon I will be skinny and they will always be jerks. Thanks for listening.... ~Tara Fabulous

I am SOOOOO sorry this world has insensitive split in the anatomy......BUT we are better than them. We have a good support group in St. Augustine. - email I'll give you details. [email protected]. On a better note - this surgrey requires alot of patience before and after. And the support around this sight is the best. tina

Hi Tara, I had a skinny lady at a table w/ 3 very nice looking men, make a mean comment when I went out to dinner with my 5 year old son. I came home and cried. Never did enjoy my food and was VERY disquisted with who I was at that point and time. I am sooooorrryyy that happened to you as well. Unfortunatley, those "boys" have probably never had to deal with obesity or have family that has had to deal with it. After the hurt, I felt pity for the lady who tried to embarrass me, and I realized that I was a better person for having had the life that I have, as I NEVER would say anything like that to anyone. My obesity has made me a better person inside and I am more compassionate for the experiences that I have learned along the way, as hurtful as some may have been. I hope after you get over the hurt, that you remember that you are a good person and that your weight does not catagorize what kind of person you are. Take it as a lesson to remember to feel compassion for ignorant people, their lives must be sooooo meaningless to have energy to focus on something as pitiful as making fun of someone based on their weight. TARA I HAVE OFTEN WONDERED ABOUT PEOPLE LIKE THAT.THE JERRY SPRINGER ON THE SHOW TYPE, YOU ACTUALLY SAW A TRUCK LOAD OF THEM,I GUESS THE PEOPLE ON HIS SHOW ARE REAL. AMAZING. PLEASE REALIZE DARLING, NO MATTER WHAT OUR SIZE, IT'S NO ONES BUSINESS,AND ONLY A REALY STUPID PERSON WITH NO CLASS WOULD SAY SUCH A THING.SO REALIZE, NO MATTER WHAT SIZE YOU ARE NOW OR IN THE FUTURE, YOU HAVE MORE COMMON SENCE AND MUCH MORE CLASS NATURALLY THEN THESE PEOPLE WILL EVER HAVE.I AM ANGRY ALSO THAT ANYONE WOULD SPEAK TO A WOMAN IN SUCH A MANNER.ANYWAY WISH THEM LOVE AND LIGHT, EVERY DOG GETS HIS DAY!
