OT: Family friend passed away.

A close family friend, he was like a grandfather to me, passed away yesterday. I didn't get to see him when I was at home for Christmas, so this is very upsetting. The weirdest thing is I was with a friend today and I went to reference Mr. Jones in whatever I was talking about, and I stopped and explained that Mr. Jones, was Jesse who used to live across the street from us and him and my dad were good friends, and just explained who this person was in my life to my friend so she would know whenever I mention Jesse or Mr. Jones who he was. Then I get home and take a nap after our outting and my mom calls a couple hours later to tell me Jesse passed away yesterday. I can't get home for the services and that makes it even harder. Please keep Mr. Jones' family in your prayers this week. ~Sarah

I'm sorry to hear that and my heart and prayers go out to the family and you. Just take time and remember the happy days and you will feel a little better as time goes by, we are here when ever you need us.

Sorry Sarah....things like this happen. Just keep them all in your thoughts. Are you going to the Orlando event in on the 25th? Hope you can drive up for it...I think we'll be there for the whole weekend... Hugs from the beach Charlie
