Ohh, there are several... When I was 23, I had my gallbladder out. At about 2 weeks post op we were at a cinema cafe eating and watching a movie. I was tired and dozed off. I guess I woke up with a big "Snort/snore" cause when I looked around, everyone was laughing. Especially hubby and friends. He has reminded me of this for years. I try not to remind him about passing gas loudly at a store and walking out of the isle, only to have another shopper walk in to the mist and their eyes water up... He denies this... Blessings all, Happy Memorial weekend. ~Tina~

Sally, I'm a waitress. One day we were slammed with customers and short staffed, I greeted a new table as I was taking food to another table by saying "good morning ladies I will be right with you. After delivering food I returned to their table to get their drink order realizing my mistake as one of the ladies was obviously a man (moustace and mullet, no boobs etc.) He said no miss you had it right the first time I am a lady. I almost died I was so embarassed!!!!! Since this happened I always say Hi folks I'm never generalizing again.

One of my most embarrassing moments happened two years ago. My son and I were touring Vizcaya with a large tour group. This was BEFORE I lost all of my weight, mind you. We had finished the tour and gathered out front when someone noticed a family of raccoons near the memorial gardens on the side of the house (the same side of the house that the pool is on). Everyone was quietly creeping over to observe these raccoons, being very careful not to make any sudden movements or loud noises. Everyone was oowing and aaaawing when I tripped over my own two feet and fell headfirst into the bushes and scared away the raccoons! I so wanted to just die. It reminds me of those commercials, "Do you ever wish you could get away?" Everyone was staring at the fat lady that fell in the bushes. I laugh about it now, but at the time I was horribly embarrassed. ~ Trish

Oooooohhhh Shayna! I felt the pain of that day with you as I read this post. Oh the shame we wear as obese people! I am so glad you can laugh now in hind sight. Sally

I think one of my most embarassing moments was when I worked for Voc Rehab. I was dealing with a client (now mind you this is someone I went to school with) And I went into a seizure. When it was over everyone was staring. I was so embarassed I could not return to work.
