INSURANCE?

Has anyone had problems with Blue Cross Blue SHield? I have PP0 and my surgeon is covered ny them. I am 19 and have a BMI of 44 and I live in St. Augustine.I am scared that they will put me on the 6 month monitered thing...if i could lose the weight without help I would ahve already lost it...I am praying I get approved. I need your prayers. My weight is the only thing in life I havent been able to conquer. I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired. PRAY FOR ME. ~Tara

BCBS seems to be pratty lax. You shouldn't have any problems with them. Have you checked to make sure that WLS is not excluded by them? Is it BCBS of FL? Sallykate

I hope not. I have BC/BS of Alabama and from what I hear they are notorious for it..oh well...God will make a way!! Tara

I think BCBS of NY is still covering the surgery. Yes you may have to do the six mth thing - but let me tell u, I was denied through my insurance for not having that and they are just having me do a 3 mth pre surgical weight loss thing first. I am 22 with a BMI of 49. Email me if u need to talk!
