Had my surgery Monday Morning early.....woke up at about 10:30 am feeling like a car ran over me Lot's of gas and pressure so starting at about 8 pm Monday night I walked and walked the floors whenever I could. Had a tough time getting comfortable in the bed since I'm 6'4" my back was killing me. ( I normally sleep on my side). With the help of the drugs I was able to get about 3 hrs sleep at a time. Tuesday morning it was down to radiology to check me for leaks. So the first thing I get to drink in 2 days was this foul iodine liquid tasting crap. Went back to the room and spent the day walking and resting.....got some lunch about noon....chicken broth which I tossed, jello, crystal light, tea and water. Had about 12 oz all total. Finally I got discharged about 8 pm and rode home....went to bed at 11 and slept on my side for 8 wonderful hours . So I'm up now having some liquids and reporting in Still have some bloating and pressure but thats about it, except for this silly looking ball on a tube thats dangling from my stomach following me all over the place. Later gang ...Think I'll paint the house today

Hi Ken glad to hear you are doing so well. I do not know why but when I read where you were going to paint the house, reminded me of an old joke about a man and a woman and twenty dollars and painting a house. Well I guess you really had to be there! Red

Ok, just for you Rosie (the clean version) A man was sitting at a bar and this woman walks in. She was dressed rather -- well lets just say she was not wearing a church dress (keeping it clean) so anyway -- she says to the man "hey sugar , I will do anything you want for twenty dollars, anything-- you just name it. " Well the man looks at her -- looks at how she is dressed-- looks at the bartender -who gives him a little wink -- and he says to the woman -- "you will do anything I want for twenty dollars" and she says "oh yeah-- anything" He thinks for a minute and says ok be at this address tomorrow at 8:00am sharp. She looks at him sort of weird and says "in the morning?" and he says "yes, in the morning, you can't paint my house at night"
