Hi guys, Sorry I didn't post a QOD yesterday. Hubby, kids and I rescued a lil' kitten in a parking lot all by itself starving. When we got him home last night we had to bathe him twice and pick fleas off of him. Then I had to wrap him in towels and keep him warm. His little gums were white because he was anemic and dehydrated. He is only about 6 weeks old. I was up most the night with him and I just did not get to get on the computer again. Anyway, we named him Bilbo (Baggins) We already have a Frodo and a Sam so Bilbo was fitting. So down to business.... Where is the farthest from home you have gone? Well this is hard for me to answer because I have lived everywhere! I have been to almost all 50 states and grew up in Canada. So I guess it would be Canada? The US is my home and when we were living there I asked my mom and dad not to make me give up my citizenship. So to be more specific... the far end of the Alaskan highway. Have a happy day! Sallykate

I'm with you on this one, I'd have to say Canada. I've been twice, once when I was like 8 or 9, we went to Niagara Falls and when I was older, around 16/17, my Dad decided he wanted to drive all the way around Lake Superior, so we went to places like Thunder Bay Canada. I'd love to go back to the Falls one day. The faraway place I really want to go is Scotland. Maybe one day Hugs Kim

Awe, I would of done the same thing in a heartbeat. I have been rescuing animals all my life...especially ones my cats brought in the house. Ok to the question, I use to live in Germany when I was a teenager, 16-18 so that is the farthest. Tracey

Congratulations on your new addition, Sallykate. To your question..................My first husband (don't get me started!!! ) join the Army when we got married. I spent almost 3 years in Germany. I was 19 when I got there with a 6 week old baby. Scary thing for me in the beginning. Have a great day. Carol -75#

Good Morning, I lived in Bitburg Germany for 3 years when my dh was stationed there in the Air Force. It was a nice place to visit but a lousy place to live. Melinda TampaBay Florida Lap RNY 10/17/03 -120lbs
