NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET!!!!

I need all the help that I can get from anyone that can help!!! Avmed says that they don't cover the surgery because of their Written exclusion policy. If anyone was able to get the surgery approved when your insurance company had a written exclusion policy PLEASE HELP!!! Also I am sooo nervous and flustered that I need help in writing an appeal to AVMED. ANy and ALL ASSISTANCE IS WELCOMED!!!!!!

I had Avmed in 2004 and they were not covering it. In 2005 they said under no cir****tances would they cover it with a written exclusion. I am not sure there is much you can do. Best of luck! Sallykate

I have no advise about the appeal letter but I can recommend that you contact Vocational Rehab in your area and make an appointment. Many states have programs that cover WLS to either keep an employee able to work or get you to be able to work. Hope this helps! Terri

I don't have any advise on the insurance but I do have advice:...................DON'T GIVE UP..... You have to keep fighting and it will come. I know it will.....It will come for you. Just hang in there. Carol
