Support Group in Orlando

Hey everybody, My name is Lauren, and i'm 5months post-op. I'm having a really hard time staying on track, with my diet. I live in Oviedo ( out side of orland) and would like to join any support groups. If anyone knows of some, i would appreciate it. Thank you, Lauren.

Lauren, US Bariatric in Celebration has a support group once a month at Celebration Health. They also have a cooking class once a month where you can meet a great support system. Check out the schedule at (www)usbariatric.com. Good luck, Rhonda

There is one the third tuesday of every month in Lake Mary also. I live in east Orlando and if you take the greenway, it is not a bad drive. Nice group of people. I have been twice and have learned something new each time. Jenn

It starts at 7pm, it seems to run about 2 hours. It is lake mary. I go this way (and I think we live on the same side of town): 417 to Lake mary blvd, turn left go al the way to Laek Emma turn left, turn right onto greenwood, and the Cingular building is there on the right. It seems to be faster then taking I-4 at that time of day. No need to sign up, just show up. Jenn

Congratulations!! Yes, the Lake Mary meeting, 3 Tuesday is the perfect place for you to meet. Amy B also has a meet&greet every other month. Check the board for reminders.

With any of the support groups or the Altamonte Meet and Greet, you just show up! I think attending something at least once a month is vital for me to stay focused and accountable. If you cant attend a meeting, then utilize this board and ask/offer/share support on here, that helps many who cant attend meetings. Good luck! Amy
