Good morning Sallykate, I like this question of the day...just wish my name meant more.....so here is my meaning Apirl English means simply "April" from the name of the month. It originally derives from Latin aperire "to open", referring to the opeining of flowers in that month. so there we have it...as they say "April Showers bring May flowers"... oh well... tonight is my sons graduation so I will be busy...hope everyone has a great weekend!!
