HI I WAS ALSO ONE OF THOSE THAT TOOK VERY LITTLE TO THE HOSPITAL. CHAP STICK IS THE ONE THING I REALLY FOUND I WAS GRATEFUL FOR. ANOTHER WEIRD THING IS THAT I COULD NOT GET SUGAR FREE JELLO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS STRANGE. THE HOSPITAL HAD A FRIG TO USE AT NIGHT. NOT MUCH IN IT, BUT I WAS AMAZED THAT SUGAR FREE STUFF WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT NIGHT. NOT EVEN CRYSTAL LIGHT. MY MOTHER BROUGHT SOME AND I KEPT IT IN THERE. I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO WANDER AROUND ALL NIGHT. HOPE ALL GOES GREAT.LIZZ

Hi Tami, Best Wishes on your surgery next week. Dr. Kim is awesome. As Rhonda said check out the USB list on what to bring. One thing I remember the most needing is lip balm and I wanted it as soon as I got to my room. You will get non-skid socks in pre-op. I also had a small pillow with me to use when coughing and for the trip home. I also brought my own bed pillow, I have a hard time sleeping without it. The rooms have individual temp controls and you can stay pretty comfy. And definately something loose to wear home. Hope we can meet at a support group meeting in the future. Good Luck!
