June 25th Fun Day

At the M&G on Saturday I mentioned to Amy and some of the others about planning a day at one of the theme parks. Omar and I have decided NOT to go to the OH seminar on June 25th so why don't we plan to do something that day. I know some people have passes/tickets to certain parks so lets take a poll as to what park we would like to go to. Or..if we ya'll want to go in a different direction, i can ask my brother who has a big pool and grill at his house if we could use his place for some fun/relaxation. I have never been to Islands of Adventure, so that would be my first choice, but Disney or Sea World appeal to me too ! Then again, a pool and BBQ sounds pretty nice too and that might have more opportunity for getting to know each other better...guess, I am not that picky ! As long as I don't have to work that day (too soon to tell), I am "in"! Amy

I had to work on the last m&G, but would like to gather on the 25th, have to see if I'm working or not. Will be one month out from surgery on that date. Blessings Tami

I LOVE Islands of Adventure,I'm gave for it!!! But if we opt for the BBQ, I can bring the little one, so you tell me what we are doing, I'll do my best to show up. Another thing I'd like to propose (another time of course) is a "girl's night out"... just planting a seed here.... vivi

I was planning on going to the OH event, but would be interested to know if there is a reason I shouldn't (e-mail me). But I will be staying at Disney, I've taken that Friday and Monday off and am making it a mini-vacation. So let me know, the BBQ thing does sound nice, would you guys have it during the day or in the evening? Sarah

Sarah, I decided not to participate in the OH.com event because I have kind of reached a point in my weightloss where I'm "over" talking about it all the time. My monthly support group, posting on here and chatting with a few WLS friends is enough for me right now. Nothing against the event, just a personal choice for me to distance myself a little from it all. Hope you can understand that...
