Howdy all! Sorry I have not been very diligent these past few days with the QOD. I have been insane busy with trying to figure out what to do since Aetna denied me. I have a plan "B" and I should be approved in about 3 more months. I know I will have to wait longer than I wanted but hey... as long as I am approved in the end!! That's the goal. I am trustung God that there must have been a reason for the delay.... He always knows best. In the mean time I have caught a nasty lil cold and I have been sleepy so I haven't been able to stay awake late at night like usually do. ENOUGH about me! How are all of you?? I trust your week is going well. We are at the 1/2 way mark. What is your favorite fragrance? Perfume, cologne or just a smell that you love... Sallykate Oh gee... why did I ask this one? I make scented candles so I have MANY fragrances that I smell often and am constantly sampling new ones... SO to narrow it down to just one is near impossible. Can I cheat and name a few? Ok, My flower gardens are blooming and the yard smells like Jasmine right now. I love the fresh smell of Jasmine. I just noticed tonight that my gardenia is blooming like crazy for the first time since I planted it 3 years ago! YUM!! Gardenia is just a beautiful fragrance. I love Drakaar for men. I make a really strong Blueberry Muffin candle (best seller) and it is just divine!

Oh my... everyone asks for vanilla candles. I make a buttery vanilla. I often wonder if my "smeller" will change post-op. I hope it doesn't mess me up too much for sniffing fragrance oils!

I make my own perfum. The ingredients are a closely guarded secret. But -- I used to get stopped in the street and asked what kind of perfume I was wearing. I had an airline attendent who had all of the other attendents on this one route that I used to fly fairly regularly watching for me because she wanted some of my perfume so badly. She told them you will know her when she gets on the plane she has red hair and smells heavenly-- and you know what -- one day when I got on a plane -- one of the attendents came up to me and said I think I know someone who is looking for you. I kid you not. True story.

hehehehe that is funny! Making your own perfume eh? I have "threatened" to get into that. It is a common extra hobby with us chandeliers since we already order fragrance oils for our candles. hmmm...dare I?

I actually broke my own rule and gave the flight attendant a little bit of the perfume. But other than some that I gave to my sister -- I am the only one that has it. I was always afraid someone would get it -- and have it analysed and then recreate it.

Well I don't make my own candles or my own perfume. Now I feel very materialistic. Maybe I should try too. Anyway, I am in to aroma and I believe it sets the mood. We use lavender around our house to relax ( Check roll call for reason) Jasmine is one of my all time favorites. Have a great day. Carol

Materialistic? naw.... It's a hobby turned side business for me. It's not for everyone. My lord Miss Carol!! 9 children? You ARE woman! I admire you. 13 grandbabies... "blessed is a man (woman) whose quiver is full. You are truly blessed. Sallykate
