Jacksonville

Hi ya`ll. I am fixing to move to Jacksonville. I have NEVER been there before. I hope you all do not mind me asking ya`ll for help..... I do need a new Dr. for my follow up visits, if ya`ll could reccommend one. I need a place to live. Any of you know of a reasonable place to rent? I perfer a house. (but anything reasonable will do) I have 2 kids ages 7 and 2. I need to know about the schools. My husband will be starting a new job at LSI on June 1st. PLEASE.........any info or help. Thankyou. My surgeon is Dr. Webb, he is great. My PCP Dr. Anne Waldron is also very good. What part of town is LSI on, do you know? Welcome soon to Jax!

LSI is on the west side. I think it is in between Mclennley (SP wrong??) and Jacksonville. Let me ask you a question.........my surgeon wants me to see him twice a year, does everyone do that or is it just my surgeon? Do you JUST see your PCP after surgery? If I had to drive to see my surgeon, it would be about a 15 hour trip one way. YUCK!! Thanks for replying. Tammy

Yes, my surgeon does want to see me about every six months. Maybe your surgeon can recommend someone he is familiar with here.

I live in Macclenny. The schools are decent here, better than Jax. Not sure what LSI is. Email me and I will send you my phone number and send you rental information. I would suggest you find a doctor on the westside to go to regarding your follow ups. I had my surgery in Gainesville and my PCP is on east Jax nearer to work. Otherwise I would recommend him.

Hi Tammy, I've lived in Jacksonville my whole life and really like it here. I also live on the Westside of Town. My surgeon is a naval Dr., but I can recommend my PCP, Dr. Jennifer Diana (which is an assistant to Dr. Lorenzo Corpus, but she is still awsome). I'm not sure of any homes for rent, but the schools here are pretty good - Normandy Village Elementary and Crystal Springs Elementary are two I think are good (both on the Westside).
