I have my surgery date but not for gastric bypase surgery but but a very large and rare tumor my second one in two year in the same area, my surgery will be in Homestead babtis hospital May 31st at 730am and bc i gained alot of weight and my sleep apnea the doctors are worried, after surgery the job i been with the last 9and half years are going to release me bc of my medical condsions and my weight they are saying its bringing my production down and im scared im going have to file backrupsy again bc the bills are pileing up, all i ask is if everyone can pray for me i wood be in your det thank you all!

LTNS, I am so very sorry to hear about all the troubles that continue to happen for you these days. Please hang in there and know many of us will pray for your speedy recovery from surgery and less stress in your life soon.
If you lose your job because of your weight, you can pursue WLS thru Vocational Rehab when you are ready. BUT...I know this is a difficult time and you need to focus on getting thru this next surgery before you worry about everything else.
As far as bankruptcy goes, do what you need to do, but keep in mind in October the Bankruptcy laws will officially change, so if you are going to do it, do it soon...I work for a bank and we have heard a lot about this and it will be much more difficult to file after the fall.

I'm glad you came to the message board, I've wondered how you are doing. I'm so sorry to hear you having to have surgery and that you are possibly losing your job. I hope you do as Amy suggests and get in touch with Vocational Rehab now, especially if your weight is one of the reasons you are losing your current job. It may take a while (I've heard approval from them can take many months) but please don't give up!!!!
