Panhandle Meet and greet..

Update.. We have decided on a date so mark it on your calanders.. June 18th.. we are still deciding on location and time... Beth has found a great little beach park in destin.. at henderson State park.. it's $4 to enter,BUT we can not reserve a pavillion ..it's a first come first serve basis only.. The park opens at 8:a.m. until sundown.. the location is awesome.. I worry that we won't be able to find an empty pavillion ..So if anyone is close to destin or in Destin..maybe you can scope it out? we need to know about tables and seatings.. It says it seats 100 people.. also if there are any grills ( we will bring our gas grill), electricity so we can play music etc.. and may need someone to volunteer to go to the park on June 18th at 7:45 a.m. and reserve a pavillion? .. But like I mentioned..it is still up in the air on location.. I do not want to trouble anyone.. I want us to meet and have a good time without going through a lot of trouble.. so location is still being considered.. any other ideas will be great!! .. Mark your calander!! Lisa

I wish that could help out but I will on vacation the whole month of june and into july as well,but hopefully there will another one in the future and I hope that everyone will have a great time!! Lisa

Ok--- Here is a thought Lisa... There is a few places in Marianna if you want me to look into it Lisa.....Like FLorida State Caverns Park, and then being that time of year there is a nice swimming place there too called Blue Springs. Becky

Hi Girls! I'd love to go to the Meet & Greet, but don't know if I'll be up to it quite that soon. I'm leaving tomorrow, the 9th for Covington, LA. I will have pre-ops all day on the 10th, free day on the 11th (except for the bowel prep), and surgery (duodenal switch) at 10am on the 12th. Keep me in your thoughts & prayers! If I'm up and about that soon and feeling good, I may surprise y'all and show up at the beach on the 18th. Henderson Bch State Park is lovely! It's almost guaranteed that the tables will all be taken very early. (A real plus is that it's a very short ride to the Silver Sands Outlets and the Destin Commons from there!) Hi Pat, I am seeing Dr Thomas in Covington tomorrow. I am in Slidell right now. With my brother and sister. Good luck to ya. Who knows maybe we will run into each other lol.
