Question of the day...
Hi guys, sorry my question is late today. There is A LOT going on around here...
How do you cope? What are some good suggestions that you find helpful for coping with stressful situations. I'm sure we all have done the food thing at one time or another and we all know that doing that is not the answer.
So what do you do instead when you find yourself in a tough situation? I'm sure we can all learn from each other on this one! I look forward to your responses.
I pray. I know I cannot handle everything on my own and so "sharing the load" with God is very helpful. I just tell him all about my situation and ask him to help it and to give me peace.
Sometimes after I do that, if time allows, I take a nap or busy myself with something like making candles.
I just take time off. I take a drive, get a pedicure, go for a walk on the beach, something like that. Stress builds up fast for me because I take on so much and I find myself trying to do more than anyone is capable of and then being upset that I didn't fini**** all. I tend to tell hubby about it all and it only gets him upset too. So now, I try to hold it in and end up bursting at times. We're living thru a tough time right now and things that shouldn't matter do, I just feel like I have the world on my shoulders and wonder why it has to be that way!?!
