Sandy, Blame it on those crazy hormones!! Your reaction is very common and will pass. If you don't feel less weepy in a few days, call your surgeon and discuss it with him/her. Keep sipping your water and eating your protein. Unless your doc has told you to avoid specific foods, like bread and sweets, I'd say puree whatever you would normally eat if you were eating a healthy meal. I know it may not look too appetizing, but it will still taste good. Hang in there - this too shall pass! Vickie J.

I mixed some tomato sauce with ricotta and then put in microwave for a little bit. It tasted real good. Hang in there, it will get better.

Sounds like you're having those post-op mood fluctuations big time!! Hang in there, girl!! I ate lots of soup and some watery mashed potatoes for a real treat early post-op and I made sure I followed my surgeon's instructions to a tee in order to avoid any problems. Jan

I liked wonton soup from a restraunt. The flavor was awesome. Minus noodles of course. Also Taco Bell has a side of pintos that is also good. Also try walking. It helped me when I felt blue...Keep up the good work, Sandy, everything will be alright. tina
