Wow! What great answers to yesterdays QOD. I sure learned some things to tuck under my hat! Thanx everyone for the wise advice you shared. PHOBIAS! or just plain "Do NOT like at ALLS"! What are yours? Mine is FROGS!! yuck! I hate! hate! hate! them and am absolutely terrified of them. If one gets on me...fuhgedda boud it!! I literally have a physical reaction. I shake, cry and scream and for thirty minutes - an hour later I am still quivering. I know, I know... I'm weird and I don't share this with hardly anyone but you guys are special I grew up in Canada on the Yukon border about 40 miles as the crow would fly from Alaska, we didn't have crittters like that up there because it is too cold. Not even snakes. Living here in FL...I'm surrounded! I am not scared of snakes at all though. Whew! So cough it up, I spilled mine... (I won't tell anyone, I promise ) Sallykate

Being underwater. I like to swim and can get my head wet ect. When I watch shows about snorkling or scuba...I get queasy. I was watching one on cave diving and think I had to change the channel.

Oh boy, mine is natural bodies of water. I was pulled under once and thought I would die, by a wave. I guess thats when it got really bad. I mean I have always be uncomfortable, but now I can not even let the waves from the ocean touch my feet. I can go to the beach but I have to stay away from the water. If I get close enough that I think it may touch me, I get dizzy and hot and have to flee . To bad I live in a state surroned by water. Jenn

Rollercoasters and heigths. I am terrified, my heart will start racing like it will jump out of my body. My nephew talked me into going to space mounain a few years ago. I thought..why not...it has been a long time since I have tried one. I prayed all the way to the end that if the good Lord got me off of it, I would never climb back on.

I have two things that terrify me. One is arachnophobia. I am terrified of spiders! When I was about 9 years old I had really long hair and one of my cousins put a Grandaddy Longlegs Spider in my hair and I got so upset I hyperventilated... I am deathly afraid of those things. The other thing I don't like are long bridges. Little bridges over canals don't bother me, but raising (or draw) bridges, bridges like the Julia Tuttle Causeway, the 7-Mile Bridge on the way to the Key West... those kind of expansive bridges or suspension bridges like the Golden Gate or Brooklyn Bridge make me a sick to my stomach. Last time we went to Key West, I was a nervous wreck and got sick to my stomach and couldn't enjoy eating at Margaritaville because I was upset at the thought of driving that bridge twice in one day. ~ Trish
