South Miami Support Group Meeting

Thursday, April 28 @ 7PM is the South Miami Hospital Support Group meeting. Meetings are open to anyone that has had surgery for obesity and would like support, or who would like to meet other people that have had the surgery, as well as anyone interested in learning more about surgical treatment for obesity. This month's topic is "Sexual Health and Functioning" with Dr. Andrew Brickman. Meetings are held at the South Miami Hospital Educational Auditorium. The address for South Miami Hospital is 6200 SW 73 Street. From the North: Take U.S. 1 south to SW 62 Avenue. Turn right onto SW 62 Ave and the main building of South Miami Hospital will be on your left. Follow signs to the emergency room, parking and the Educational Auditorium are across from the ER. From the South: Take U.S. 1 to the Florida Turnpike north. Then take State Road 874 (Don Shula Expressway) to State Road 878/South Miami exit. Continue on State Road 878 to U.S. 1. At U.S. 1, turn left heading north. Turn left again at SW 62 Avenue. South Miami Hospital will on your left. Follow signs to the emergency room, parking and the Educational Auditorium are across from the ER. From Miami International Airport/Hialeah: Take State Road 836 (Dolphin Expressway) east to I-95. Head south on I-95 to U.S. 1. Take U.S. 1 south to SW 62 Avenue. Turn right onto SW 62 Ave, and South Miami Hospital will be on your left. Follow signs to the emergency room, parking and the Educational Auditorium are across from the ER. You can also take the Metrorail and exit the train at the South Miami station which is near the hospital. I hope to see you there!
