1 week to consult, excited&nervous

Hi everyone, I am one week from consult...I am sooo excited, but strangely nervous too. I am afraid that I will cry when talking to the Dr. I actual know I will cry...I just don't want him to disqual me thinking I need depression meds or something. I will be crying because I am elated to finally have the opportunity to FINALLY talk to an actual surgeon that could be performing my surgery. Any advice? Thanks, Laurie

Just remember, the surgeon is used to a pre-op being a bundle of nerves. I would be writing down any questions you have so that you won't forget to ask them when you get there! I take a list of questions to my surgeon nearly every visit. Good luck and keep us posted! ~ Trish

Thanks for the encouragement Trish...now that the opportunity is at my doorstep, I'm so afraid of having something going awry and loosing my oppertunity! Sounds silly, huh? Thanks again...Laurie
