Hi guys! What a neat bunch of responses to yesterdays QOD. I just love reading your replies. Each of us is unique and it sure shows in our answers to the QOD. Thanx for participating! What is your favorite summertime activity? Let me see... well I have gotten into gardening pretty heavily in the past few years. I love herb gardneing and making teas and tinctures from my herbs. I am learning all the time in the horticultural dept. My kids garden with me and that makes it all the more special. Sadly this year I have not been able to do any gardening at all because my co-morbs have gotten too painful. I cannot wait to reverse that! I hope to garden my heart out next summer after successful WLS! Blessings, Sallykate

My husband and I pack a picnic box and get in his convertable and explore this beautiful state that we live in. Just day trips but it is fun to see other places and the weather is beautiful. We still have the Southwest part of the state to head towards. I am looking forward to doing this again. I got in such a depression about my weight that I haven't wanted to go many places lately.

I love to go walking on the beach. St. Augustine's slogan is: 18 miles of beaches and the rest is history. I am lucky to live is such a beautiful place. Bless all you pre-ops. Post-ops keep up the water and protein. tina

Hey Sallykate, I love swimming in the pool. I'm not much for beach swimming, creatures in the water with me freak me out. However, I have always loved swimming in the pool. I think I'm part fish (lol). Also love family back yard picnics and crab feasts!! Lori

Long walks on the beach.........or reading a good book lying on the beach......just soaking in all the sea air and the warm sun that I can.......that's my kind of summer. Also, did you see the moon a couple nights ago? What a beautiful sight. LuvitsunnyVB~lo/goal

LUVITSUNNY you are right on the money! Its all about the beach, sun, sand and the water! I can't get enough swimming, snorkeling, diving, boating or just soaking up the rays while I watch my son play. I love it! I even take my dogs out to romp around in the shallows. To what extent do I love florida and the beach? My husband and I were married at Key Biscayne (miami, fla) on the beach almost 8 years ago. God I love this state!
