Florida friends... I need your help please?
I had United Healthcare and I called a couple of times and they had no idea what I was talking about. Come to find out a "special" person in their office handles the WLS surgery claims and us regular people don't get to talk to her. So maybe it is just that you are not talking to the "right" person that has your info. Just a suggestion.

Sally - when you call the insuracne do you have the name of the person? Then call her everyday - but then again - that can annoy them. It's a catch 22. I'm sorry you're going through this - but hang on in there. I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks and I got approval in 14 days. It can still happen.
Thanx for your suggestion Ruth. I have a notebook that I log the date, time, reps name and the conversation. I have tried to call back to the same person but they say that our calls come in at random in any of the states that they have customer service in. I can never get the same person twice it seems.
grrrr.... your right "it can still happen" and it will! I know it will.
