Calling Dr Cox's medicaid patients

It's usually about $250-$300 for the psych evaluation. After you fill out the info packet and send in your records, the tests and classes are scheduled right away. It doesn't take but a few weeks. The approval process is pretty fast also. For most of us, a couple more weeks after the tests. Good luck!

I stayed at the Fairfeild Inn on N. Federal Hwy. It was just a couple of miles from Holy Cross Hospital, North Ridge Medical Center, and Dr. Cox's office(It took about 5 mins. in traffic). I got a discount on my room by telling them I was there to have testing at the hospital. The regular price is about $109.00 per night, whi*****ludes free continental breakfast. They were running a special and I got mine for only $60.00.
The testing can be done in one day, if the doctors have available appointments. You can work with Carey in Dr. Cox's office on that. You have to stay in town for two weeks post-op, if you live more than a couple hours from them. With the pain meds you'll be on post-op, I'd suggest having someone drive you home. Some patients have driven themselves, but I wouldn't have been able to.
Dr. Cox is wonderful,

Just wanted to say HI
you two and that April...I know tht sounds good what she said about the hotel but if you are needin cheaper hotel options I would try sites like orbitzdotcom, travelocitydotcom, hotelsdotcom and others to see if you can get a good hotel rate...just thought I would suggest that..>Hope you too are doing great otherwise!!

I might also suggest a web site called Hospitalsoup.com You can look up any hospital in the country (including military hospitals) and then do a search for hotels. The search will give you a list with the hotels in order by distance from the hospital. You can make reservations there too -- but I do not know how competetive the rates are. But just getting the list is pretty neat. And a word of advice. Do all you want on line to find the best rate you can and then call the hotel. Sometimes the hotel itself will give you a better rate. It is worked for me many times. Also check with the hosptial -- sometimes they have arrangements with properties in the area.
