OT: Part-time job ideas???
You could sell stuff on Ebay or gather together some stuff and take to a flea market and sell stuff there.
A great idea for a home business is to deliver groceries etc. to the elderly and disabled. I wanted to do that at one point. I knew a girl who did it in another state and she loved it and made good money. I have no way to contact her for info, but I'm sure you could find out info another way.
I used to think about doing that when I lived in Tampa. Most places in Florida have a lot of retirees.
I live in Alabama now...had to move back to my hometown when I became disabled and lost my house in Tampa, or will be losing it soon. I moved one year ago and they still haven't put it in foreclosure. It really sucks and I wish there were someone here who delivered things or helped out the disabled because I would be SO happy to hire them. I couldn't find ANYONE to help me when I was in Tampa and I can't find anyone here, so I would encourage anyone looking for a home business to check that out.
I'm hoping WLS will help some of my medical problems. I imagine I will always be disabled, but if I ever get to where I can work again, I want to pursue the grocery delivery for the elderly and disabled home business.
Just a thought.
My nephew works for Target here in Alabama and they are pretty flexible with his hours, I think. He's a college student and doesn't seem to have that much trouble with his hours.
Good luck!
Joni, who misses Florida...
I work at Target in the Viera SuperTarget pharmacy. Target is extremely flexible. Many team members have other jobs and/or go to school. Management at Target is great. I worked for Wal-Mart for 6 years and it is different as night and day. A store is a good idea because you are on your feet and getting exercise. Also, a more structured job enviroment will keep you from snacking. I know when I am home I am always searching the fridge..no can do at work..hehe.
