One year anniversary
I am usually just a lurker but I just had to share. Tomorrow I will be one year post-op and as of this morning have lost 200 pounds from my starting weight of 458. That was a big goal for me to hit in my first year and am so happy to have made it. I still have 70 pounds to go but know I will get there eventually. It is so amazing how much this surgery has done for my life. I feel like a human being again who likes to do things instead of hide in the safe confines of my home. I am no longer afraid that everyone I pass is laughing at me and that is a true miracle. I am still a food addict but I work at it everyday and know it will always be a struggle.
I just want to wish you all the success in the world and I will try not to be such a lurker
Thanks so much for letting me share my joy!!
God Bless!
Leah
