my journey begins......................................Class #1

Well got the call today for my first WLS class.. I go May 5th at 3:00 p.m. I am not going to think about this surgery to much because the last time i got all excited after all the blood work and battery of tests the doc denied me the surgery... WELL NOT THIS TIME BUCKO.... This time its going to happen. It has to anyway im already approved... through my insurance... The last time i addmited to being a binge eater so this time i know better... keep my mouth shut and just answer what they ask of me...

Hey Emily, I was so glad to read your post about starting your first class. I know that I was very excited about starting my first one. Don't worry the year will go by so quickly and then you'll get approved in no time. If you would like, I could attend one of the meetings with you. They really get boring sometime. Good for you! You're off and running toward a healthy future! Good luck! We have a WLS support group in Tallahassee and we'd love to have you attend our meetings. Our group is open to anyone; pre-op, post-op, family and those who are " just thinking about it". We are meeting this Saturday (4/23).
