The week is already almost gone! I hope it has been a good one for you... Who is your biggest supporter?? Although I have support from allof my family including my parents and hubby... I would have to say that my oldest daughter has been the most enthused and supportive for me. She is 14.5 and very bright for her age...wise beyond her years. She is very excited for me and encourages me a lot. I thank God for her... Sallykate

Wow, that's hard....but I have 2 really big supporters. My hubby is my supporter at home. He makes sure I'm getting in my liquids and my protein. However, I also have to say my other biggest supporter is you You were there listening to me whine while I was waiting to get all my stuff together and throughout my whole gaining approval process and more. Thank you!! HUGS Kim

My biggest supporter has been my boyfriend and my mom and my boyfriend's mom. When I was going through my difficult complications, my Mother never left the hospital. Literally, she slept in the same ICU room with me the entire two weeks I was on the vent only leaving my room to shower in the hospital when my boyfriend or his mom were there. She wouldn't let either of them stay with me, she stayed 24/7, and I was in the hospital from 12/8-12/31. It was amazing and I really don't know if I would have had the will to keep fighting if it weren't for her. She was so inspiring to everyone because she has severe lymphadema from a mastectomy and had her knee replaced a few months before my surgery and she slept on a LOVESEAT while I was in the ICU, and she's 60 years old. I love my Mom! My boyfriend and his mom were also there all the time during the day and well into the evening. My boyfriend only left because they wouldn't allow two people to stay the night and my Mom had already made it clear she wasn't going anywhere... LOL ~ Trish

Well, of course Omar is my biggest supporter. Having gone through the surgery before me and knowing what to expect, it has been a lifesaver having him around. He never left me in the hospital even though sometimes I wanted him to. LOL I also have my best friend Marla who lives in SC. We have known each other for 19 years and she is my family as well as my friend. She has been there for me through so much, ups, downs and in-between. It's amazing to have someone like that in your life. Sincerely, Dawn Post-Op 9/23/04 399/269/200

My biggest supporter and greatest friend is my oldest sister. She is so wonderful. She attends my support meetings with me, some dr appts and was in the hospital the entire time. Everyone knows and loves her (dr's, support group, hospital staff). She is the best. She does not allow anyone to say anything negative around me about my decision to have the WLS... if they do- watch out!!! They are going to receive some words that are not "christian" (lol) I love her so much. My entire family is very supportive (mom, siblings, nieces and nephews). My boyfriend is the love of my life & daily is amazed how different I look. He calls me "pretty, pretty" (nickname) way before I had the surgery- but now when he says it .... "my skinny pretty, pretty baby"... I think he is wonderful- can you tell? Congrats everyone for having such a wonderful support unit. Keep up the great work Brigitte PreOP 304 Now 256

My biggest support was my hubby, (and Is)May 22, will be my 24th anniversary. I love him more and more every day. Also I have 2 great girl friends, Paulette, who is getting ready to have her surgrey, and DJ who had the surgrey 3 weeks after me. They always help me and support me in all of lifes ups and down. OK---my children are wonderful also. They mother me when I need it.

My entire family has been a wonderful support but I have to say my DH is the greatest. As my best friend as well as husband of 32 years, he knew my struggle with weight better than anyone. He is one thrilled man now.............and he does not let a day go by that he doesn't tell me how proud he is of me and that he just wants me happy and healthy. I love him ssoooooooooooo much! luvitsunnyvB~lo/goal
