Finally over
Tracey, I've been there, done that with my own father. As much as you're glad he's out of pain, there's a part of you I'm sure that will miss him very, very much! I know I was relieved when my father was out of his agony, but just thinking of you and your loss makes my eyes well up with tears over my own loss!!
You will remember the care you were privileged to give your father and you will also remember this special time with some fondness because it was such a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. I was just thrilled that I could provide my father with some comfort when he needed it the most!
I will be looking forward to seeing you on the board more often.

May the Lord comfort you and your family during this difficult time. I know when my grandma was ill I was always hoping that she'd go - and when it happened it was difficult yet in a way relieving to know she no longer was in pain..so I understand. I know that remembering that you were there for him and doing the best you could for him will serve as comfort. God bless you.
Hi Tracey, what can I say that it hasn't already been said... Being prepared is the best thing you can do, it helps a lot with the pain. Death is part of life and the sooner you can come to terms with it, and somehow find acceptance, the sooner you will be able to fully enjoy the wonderful memories you have from your beloved father, and be thankful for the time you had with him in this life. All the best to your family and you. Love Vivi.
Hi Tracey,
I know your dad had been sick for quite awhile. Omar and I send you and your family lots of good thoughts and prayers. If you need anything, please give me a call. As you know, my dad just passed away almost 4 weeks ago. I miss him so much but he was 88 and in bad health and I didn't want to keep him here with me just so I wouldn't feel bad. We had lots of wonderful years together and he got to see me and Omar start our new Post-Op lives together and for that I will always be grateful. Take care.
Sincerely,
Dawn
Tracy.. It was a pleasure getting to know you and your dad. I enjoyed my few visits.I would love to continue a friendship with you. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
