As some of you know, my father has 4th stage melenoma, diagnosed July of last year. Hospice and I have been taking care of him for the last few months. Well this morning at 10:20am his pain is finally gone. His passing was quick and painless for him. My family is glad that he isn't suffering anymore, he started to go down hill slowly on Sunday. I just wanted to let everyone know we are fine...pretty much relieved. His regular hospice nurse was here during it and helped us a lot. Take care everyone..maybe soon I will feel like posting again like I use too. Tracey 327/194/177

Tracey, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, but I know you all were prepared for this and like you said, you are glad that he isn't suffering any longer. If you need anything, want to go for lunch once things calm down, or just want to chat, give me a call. Take good care, Amy

Tracy, my heart grieves with you. I am a Hospice nurse, and I know what wonderful people you and your family must be. It takes someone special to care for their loved one in Hospice. Thank you for loving your Father so richly and sharing that love with us!
