Spent Friday at ER

I was sick the weekend before with fever, chills, headache, sore muscles,dizzy. I figured it was just how the flu hit me. Then this pass weekend I woke up at 4:00a.m. with a terrible side ache and cramps. Went to ER had x-rays, cat scan, tried morphine three times, no luck. Finally found pain killer that worked! I had a kidney stone the size of a thumbnail! Doc said it was the largest he ever saw. Had it zapped with lazer Friday afternoon about 4:00. Went home Saturday 2:00 not any pain or cuts and went for a two mile walk about 6:00. Feeling fine now and back to normal. That was my fourth kidney stone I had, but first since surgery. I'm 7 months out from surgery and have loss 98 lbs. Total loss counting pre-op is 125 lbs.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I've never had a kidney stone, but I've heard the pain is comparable to actually giving birth. Yikes! ~ Trish -65 pounds

Hey Sharon! I can totally relate! I was 3 weeks post-op last week and I spent last Sunday-Tuesday in the hospital with kidney stones. I passed SEVEN! I have never felt pain like that in my life! Glad to hear you're feeling better. Hugs Kim

Sorry you had to go through that - I never had a kidneystone - but by the sound of it - glad I haven't. I'm glad that your feeling better!! & congratulations on your awesome wl!!
