Mobic anti inflamatory
Suzanne, sorry for your pain. I know how you feel, I have osteo-arthritis in both knees. I was told no anti-inflammatories/NSAIDS. They can tear up our pouch. Best bet would be to call your surgeon. I have been taking Ultracet, which is a mild pain-killer. It helps me. I really don't have any inflammation in my knees just bone-on-bone rubbing pain.
Good luck!

I have osteoarthritis in my left hip and lower back. I was on mobic as a pre-op but can't take it anymore as it is considered a NSAID. Speak to your doctor about another medicinal therapy, and also ask if he can prescribe physical therapy. I went to 6 weeks physical therapy and learned stretches and exercises that help me manage my osteoarthritis very, very well. Hopefully you will start to feel relief as you lose more weight.
Good luck!
