Hello guys I just wanted to let yall know that I love all the great advice yall give. It has really motivated me. I had contiplated surgery for some time but I was too chicken! My friend recommended this site and a lot of my questions were answered. I finally went to my pcp and my dr is all for it, she made me an appt for the lipid tests. All I need is to find a surgeon. I don't know if it's my insurance plan, but I can'f find a surgeon near palm beach that takes Avmed insurance with the state. If anyone knows of a surgeon will you please let me know I don't know if I should call my insurance and ask them or if I should wait to see what my Dr. says please help me.

Your doctor should be able to recommend a few surgeons in your area that do the surgery, there are several in S. Florida. I didnt have luck when I contacted the insurance company, but maybe Avmed is different. If you can\'t get any names, I would suggest you go to the main Florida page on here and look at the surgeon listing yjrtr and then start making calls or visiting websites for more info. I started writing down all the names and phone numbers of the doctors and it's weird but the ones closer to West Palm don't take avmed insurance. I am crossing my fingers, so that I may find a surgeon. I want to be a looser sooo bad. I want to finally enjoy life.
